Professional home organizing sessions with The Caring Sort cost $60 per hour with a three-hour minimum. I don't offer project-based pricing because I believe you should remain in control of your investment and work at a pace that feels comfortable for you. You can schedule the time you need, with no obligation to continue beyond a session. Most sessions last 4-6 hours, depending on:

• Project size and scope.
• Decision-making pace, especially when sorting sentimental items.
• Level of participation; your involvement can help move things along efficiently.
• Your vision of "organized" because an organized space should work for you.

For your convenience, I accept all major credit cards, Venmo, Zelle, Apple Pay, and gladly accept your personal checks and cash.

I charge by the hour, with payment collected at the end of each session once you’re satisfied with the work completed.

Nothing! I want to make the most of each session, which means making the best use of all the great organizing products that you already have. You may be surprised by what I can do with what you already have in your home. However, if specialized containers or other organizing products would be helpful, or if having that “Pinterest-perfect” space is what you are after, then I can make that happen too! Organizing products can be added to your shopping list for you, or I can do the shopping. It’s your choice!

When preparing for a home organizing session with The Caring Sort, you don't need to tidy up beforehand. Seeing the space as it naturally is helps me understand what’s working, what isn’t, and what systems will be easiest for you to maintain. Instead, think about how you'd like to use each space once it’s organized. Write down your ideas, priorities, and goals, and share them with me.

A little preparation can help you get the most from your session. I recommend:

• Rest and refuel: Get a good night's sleep, eat beforehand, and stay hydrated.
• Be ready to begin: Plan to be available when I arrive so we can make the most of your time.
• Minimize distractions: Set aside time to focus on the project and make decisions.
• Think about your goals: Consider how you'd like your space to function and what you'd like it to make easier in your daily life.
• Dress comfortably: Wear comfortable clothing and shoes that allow you to move around easily.
